According to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Noah Yusuf, the new intake includes 1,302 UTME, 297 Direct Entry, and 12 Transfer students, with 30 pioneer Medical students enrolled in the MB, BS programme of the College of Health Sciences.
This year’s ceremony was especially significant as it marked the valedictory outing of Prof. Yusuf, who is rounding off a remarkable five-year tenure as Vice-Chancellor.
In his lecture, Prof. Olayaki urged the new students to remain conscious of their academic purpose, value their time, honour the sacrifices of their parents, choose positive associations, and take full advantage of available learning resources — both digital and physical.
Congratulations to all newly matriculated students as they embark on this transformative academic journey!
