JAMB SETS 2025 ADMISSION CUT OFF MARKS TO 150 AND ABOVE

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the cut off marks for the 2025 admission cycle. According to the latest update, candidates who score 150 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be eligible for admission into Nigerian universities and tertiary institutions.

What Does This Mean?

This means that candidates who score 150 and above will have the opportunity to pursue their preferred courses and programs in Nigerian universities and tertiary institutions. However, it’s essential to note that institutions have the right to increase the cut off marks if they so desire.

Institutions Can Set Their Own Cut Off Marks

While JAMB has set the minimum cut off mark at 150, institutions can set their own cut off marks, which may be higher than the JAMB minimum. This means that candidates will need to check the specific requirements of the institutions they are interested in to determine their eligibility for admission.
