UNIVERSITY OF BENIN,BENIN (UNIBEN) RELEASES POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has announced the commencement of registration for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (PUDE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. All UTME and DE candidates who made UNIBEN their first choice and scored 200 and above in the UTME are invited to apply.

The online registration portal opens on Monday, 4th August 2025, and closes by midnight on Friday, 22nd August 2025. Eligible applicants are expected to visit the university’s portal, follow the instructions to register, and pay the screening fee of ₦2,000 via Remita. A valid email address is required throughout the application process.

The screening test will hold between Monday, 1st and Saturday, 6th September 2025, and will be conducted via Computer-Based Test (CBT) at designated centres on UNIBEN’s Ugbowo campus. Candidates are to come along with their Acknowledgement Slip and Screening Invitation Slip, both of which can be printed from Wednesday, 27th August 2025.

UNIBEN has grouped courses into five (5) categories:

Group A – Physical Sciences

Group B – Life Sciences

Group C – Social Sciences

Group D – Management Sciences

Group E – Arts

Candidates should take note of their appropriate group for screening arrangements.

Applicants are also advised to register early, ensure all details are accurate, and strictly follow instructions as no corrections can be made after submission. Failure to complete the registration by the deadline means disqualification from the screening.
