The University of Ilorin has officially postponed its 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony, which was initially slated for Tuesday, 18th November 2025. A new date for the matriculation will be communicated once an official update is released by the university management.
In the meantime, the university has concluded arrangements for its *Freshers’ Orientation Programme*, which will proceed as scheduled on *Monday, 17th* and *Tuesday, 18th November 2025*, at the *University Auditorium*.
The orientation programme is an essential exercise designed to welcome and guide newly admitted students as they transition into the academic and social life of the university. It offers a comprehensive introduction to UNILORIN’s academic procedures, student support services, campus policies, code of conduct, and institutional structure. It also provides vital information on key university units such as the library, health centre, student affairs, counselling services, and campus security.
